New Release | View Across The Marshes
This work was created during a time when I was feeling a little unwell and low on energy. All I wanted to do was to disappear into my studio and be in solitude. I notice now that the colours I chose reflected my mood as they are muted and calm and the landscape is still. Water gently ripples in the foreground.
Creating this scene gave me a sense of absolute peace and I soon recovered – I hope that this feeling comes across in the painting, sometimes it is right to step back from the hustle and bustle of life and just be in a quiet space.
